PopGoesTheNews.com >> CTV announced today that it will launch a new morning show tomorrow featuring MuchOnDemand co-host Matte Babel and former Muchmusic personality Steve Anthony.
CP24 Breakfast will air on CP24 weekday mornings from 5:30 to 9:00 with anchor Ann Rohmer. Melissa Grelo, Nalini Sharma, Mika Midolo and Cam Wooley will also be featured on the show.
The broadcast will compete with CTV’s national morning show, Canada AM and Breakfast Television on the Rogers-owned CityTV. CTV recently pulled the plug on it’s A-Channel morning shows.
CTV is also expanding the CP24 brand by converting the former oldies station 1050 CHUM into CP24 Radio 1050 as of 5:00 am tomorrow.
